One of the reasons most people dread studying is because the act itself requires you to stay hunched over pages of paper, books, and study guides until all the information is retained and you feel adequately prepared. Instead of spending hours upon end without getting up from the desk, give yourself the gift of fresh air and get outside! Whether you use this time to take a walk, run, or simply stretch your legs, you’ll be glad you got your body moving.
Have Some Fun with a Hobby You Enjoy
If it’s too cold to be anywhere but inside the confines of your warm office, why not use your break to do something you personally enjoy. What are the hobbies that take your mind off studying? If you aren’t sporadically snacking while studying, what are you doing? In addition to water and school supplies, snacks are a very common study accessory for most students. However, if you’ve only been hunkered down at your desk and have yet to grab something from the kitchen, take a break to prepare yourself a healthy and quick snack that you can chow down on while writing or reading. Your body will respond well to food that not only tastes good but also provides nutrients when you need them most.
